Airport Nuremberg 13.7 MWp

The PV system at Nuremberg Airport has an installed capacity of 13.7 MWp. A large share of the generated energy is consumed directly on site at the airport. Annual CO₂ savings amount to approximately 4,900 tonnes.

meteocontrol implemented a comprehensive solution for monitoring and control of the system – ranging from the control concept based on the blue’Log XC, taking into account two grid connection points, to VCOM Cloud for centralized and transparent technical operations management, through to successful commissioning. An expansion of the existing system to include a battery unit is already in the planning stage.
