Technical Due Diligence

Technical due diligence is a key tool for risk assessment and decision-making in the context of project development, transactions, or financing processes for photovoltaic systems and battery storage systems. It provides an independent, structured assessment of the technical project's status based on existing documentation, planning documents, and data.

Depending on the project phase – whether early development, construction-ready planning, or existing plant – we flexibly adapt the scope and depth of detail of the analysis. Our review covers plant planning, components used, yield forecasts, approval status, quality assurance measures, and contractual framework conditions. In addition, we cross-check the underlying yield assumptions to validate the project's economic basis.

For transactions on the secondary market, we also analyze the documentation of the realized plant condition (as-built) and evaluate the operating results of previous years. In each phase, we monitor the project's economic and technical success and identify potential weaknesses, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
