BESS design
A technical design for battery energy storage systems (BESS) analyzes the profitability of battery storage solutions and determines the optimal size, accounting for project-specific technical and economic conditions. It models storage operations based on load profiles and market revenue options, and evaluates the potential savings from options such as peak load capping or self-consumption optimization. In addition, marketing strategies are compared, and project-specific key figures such as net present value, annual yield, payback period, and internal rate of return are calculated. The design can be either a stand-alone solution or a co-location variant with PV systems and/or electricity consumers.
PV layout planning
Layout planning for photovoltaic systems delivers an optimized design that maximizes energy yield, reduces costs, and ensures compliance with local regulations. It includes site assessment, planning of module placement, tilt angle, orientation, and mounting structures, as well as cable and inverter arrangement. In addition, shading effects are analyzed, the ratio of direct to alternating current is optimized, a yield forecast is created, and a bill of materials for the most important components is compiled. All results are provided in PDF and CAD format.
