SPR Energie was looking for a professional and flexible monitoring platform to meet the increasing demands of modern operations management. After an intensive test phase, the company opted for VCOM from meteocontrol. Key factors in this decision were central functions such as comprehensive user management, powerful reporting functions with automated dispatch, and the ability to seamlessly integrate third-party data loggers into VCOM.
Burkhard Frantzen, Head of Corporate Communications and Corporate Development at SPR Energie, emphasizes: "For us, it was essential to find a solution that meets the high security requirements of a KRITIS company and at the same time offers the flexibility to support all common data loggers. Equally important for us is the ability to efficiently implement distributed and networked work at multiple locations throughout Germany. VCOM optimally fulfills all these requirements, thus creating the basis for sustainable operational management."
As part of this collaboration, around 700 PV systems throughout Germany with an installed capacity of more than 280 MWp will be integrated into VCOM. This underscores the confidence in the performance and scalability of meteocontrol's solution.
Hanja Hainš, Sales Consultant at meteocontrol: “We are very pleased to welcome SPR Energie as a new partner. The decision in favor of our VCOM confirms once again that our platform meets the high requirements of professional operations management. We are proud of this and look forward to working closely together.”
