Milan – From August 5th, Italian PV plants above 100 kWp up to 10 MWp (Medium Voltage) must comply with stricter ARERA (Autorità di Regolazione per Energia Reti e Ambiente) requirements. This new regulation, ARERA resolution 385/2025, which is part of the CEI 0-16 standard, creates an urgent need for operators and installers to ensure reliable grid integration. Previously, this requirement only applied to larger plants of 1 MWp and above. To make the transition seamless, meteocontrol offers a comprehensive solution.
The new integrated solution consisting of Power Plant Controller (PPC or CCI – Controllore Centrale di Impianto in Italian) and blue’Log offers customers a number of decisive advantages. It provides a simple yet powerful way to achieve the required grid conformity without relying on a third-party solution or external portals. It also offers a reliable and compatible all-in-one solution, enabling the “PF2” controlling feature. Potential issues related to grid integration are fully resolved.
"We are aware of the enormous challenge faced by operators and installers in ensuring compliance with the grid operator Terna and the DSOs. With our new solution for the ARERA resolution 385/2025, we offer our customers a secure and efficient way to meet the new requirements," says Massimo Poli, Regional Manager EU South.
