In connection with the marketing of batteries or the supply of devices containing batteries, meteocontrol GmbH is obliged by the Battery Ordinance to point out the following to users:

Batteries must not be disposed off along with household waste. As consumers, users are obligated by law to return used batteries. Users can return the complete device, including the batteries in it, to meteocontrol when they use it no more.

Batteries containing harmful substances are indicated by an icon (a refuse bin with a cross through it). The chemical name of the harmful substance is given near the refuse bin symbol. Explanation: Cd stands for cadmium, Pb for lead, and Hg for mercury.

German Packaging Act (VerpackG):
Information on taking back packaging in accordance with §15 (1) VerpackG: In connection with the sale of hardware solutions in Germany, meteocontrol GmbH is obliged to take back used, completely emptied packaging of the same type, shape and size as the packaging it has placed on the market free of charge at the place of actual delivery or in its immediate vicinity. We will of course be happy to fulfil this obligation, please contact us (einkauf@meteocontrol.de).

Dans le cadre de la vente de batteries ou de piles ou de la livraison d’appareils contenant des batteries ou des piles, la société meteocontrol GmbH est tenue, conformément au décret sur le recyclage des batteries, d’informer l’utilisateur des éléments suivants :

Les batteries ne doivent pas être éliminées avec les déchets ménagers. En tant que consommateur final, l’utilisateur est légalement tenu de restituer les batteries usagées. Après utilisation, l’utilisateur peut restituer l’appareil complet avec les batteries usagées à meteocontrol.

Les batteries et les piles contenant des substances toxiques sont identifiées à l’aide d’un symbole représentant une poubelle barrée d’une croix. À côté du symbole de la poubelle, vous trouverez la désignation chimique de la substance nocive. Explication : Cd est mis pour cadmium, Pb pour plomb et Hg pour mercure.
