3 MW: Hybrid-EMS-Project Tangermünde

In Saxony-Anhalt, near Stendal, Frankfurt Energy Holding implemented the Graustorm BESS project in Tangermünde. For this project, meteocontrol supplied its hybrid EMS solution for connecting a battery energy storage system to the medium-voltage grid. The project focused on the intelligent control of a battery with a capacity of approximately 3 MW and a usable storage capacity of 6 MWh.

Central to the technical implementation was the seamless integration of grid operator and energy marketer interfaces to ensure grid-friendly and economically optimized operations. Precise technical planning and execution resulted in a stable system that fully met the requirements of modern energy storage applications.
