the corona pandemic is no longer stoppable even here in Germany and is confronting us with unforeseen challenges. Our most important task now is to slow the spread of the disease in order to protect risk groups and keep the health system able to act.
At meteocontrol we want to make our contribution to this and have encouraged our employees to work from home as a precautionary measure against the spread of the virus. Our professional infrastructure enables us to ensure the operational security of our servers and communication with you from home office at all times. We take a pragmatic and unbureaucratic approach and our entire team is currently at your disposal. Let us take all precautions so that this crisis remains as bearable as possible for our companies. We shall be well prepared and strengthened when this phase is over and business returns to normal.
As entrepreneurs, we also have the responsibility to keep the economy and business running. We have the capacities and IT infrastructure to continue to support, plan and drive forward new projects. For the sake of our employees' health however, we will not be undertaking any business trips for the time being and will arrange meetings with customers or third parties virtually. At the present time, it is not foreseeable whether our trainings at the headquarters in Augsburg will take place as planned. If the training has to be cancelled or postponed, we will announce this in written form at least one week before the start of the event.
