Querfurt 6.5 MWp Hybrid EMS Project

In Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, near Querfurt, Frankfurt Energy Holding has implemented a cutting-edge hybrid project that combines photovoltaics with a high-performance battery energy storage system (BESS). meteocontrol supplied the complete control technology and energy management system for this project. The use of a hybrid EMS solution ensures that the green electricity generated can be temporarily stored as needed and fed into the grid with high efficiency while complying with complex requirements set by grid operators and energy suppliers. 

Thanks to optimized marketing across all relevant markets, maximum revenue is generated from solar power and storage—while also making a significant contribution to grid stability and the successful energy transition. Furthermore, the project was developed as part of an innovation call for proposals.
