meteocontrol appoints Julien Sandifer as Regional Manager France

Lyon – meteocontrol, a global leader in solar asset and energy management solutions, has appointed Julien Sandifer as the new Regional Manager for France. This move reinforces its strategic focus on one of Europe’s most dynamic solar markets and signals renewed commitment to localized growth across Francophone Europe.

Julien Sandifer has been appointed as Regional Manager for meteocontrol France.

Previously Senior Account Manager for France & Benelux, Sandifer led key account growth and strategic sales. As Regional Manager, he will now oversee market strategy, operations, and project execution across France driving client proximity, technical reliability, and long-term value.

“France is entering a decisive phase in its solar transition with grid constraints, regulatory shifts, and investor pressure driving demand for smarter, data-led plant operations,” said Julien Sandifer. “Clients need more than monitoring, they need actionable insights, fast response, and support from experts rooted in the local market. That’s our differentiator.”

With over 15 years of international experience in renewable energy, strategic sales, and complex stakeholder engagement, Julien brings a strong track record of delivering scalable growth in high-impact sectors. His appointment reflects meteocontrol’s focus on localisation, integrated hardware-software solutions, and energy performance optimisation as key pillars of its regional growth plan.

“Sandifer’s leadership experience and deep knowledge of the French market position him to lead meteocontrol’s next phase of growth in the region,” said Chris Liu, Managing Director of meteocontrol. “As demand accelerates, our ability to deliver both intelligent digital platforms and reliable on-site hardware will be critical to supporting clients with full-lifecycle energy management.”

Sandifer’s appointment supports meteocontrol’s expansion in France, aligned with its broader European innovation roadmap. The company will continue to serve C&I operators, utility-scale developers, IPPs, asset managers, and O&M providers with end-to-end monitoring, control, and energy performance solutions built for compliance, efficiency, and scale.
