PV+BESS Project: MAW Eckartshausen

Together with our partner ingenia, we have implemented a forward-looking energy concept for MAW Metallbau-Anlagenbau-Werkstätten GmbH in Eckartshausen. The project impressively demonstrates how the combination of photovoltaics and battery energy storage (BESS) optimizes self-sufficiency while simultaneously stabilizing the grid connection.

The central core of the system is the blue’Log XC, equipped with our Hybrid EMS and the Remote Power Control function. This combination not only ensures precise feed-in management but also enables seamless direct marketing via the integrated grid operator interface. All control technology was delivered pre-wired in the Power Control Cabinet Plus, which significantly reduced on-site installation time. In addition to complete project planning, our team also provided support through efficient remote commissioning to ensure a fast and secure grid connection.

The project relies on the VCOM Cloud for long-term stable operation. Thanks to the integrated monitoring for PV and BESS, the operator can keep track of all energy flows in a central interface—from generation to storage usage. This project underscores our commitment to making complex hybrid systems manageable through intelligent hardware and scalable software solutions, thereby actively advancing our customers’ energy self-sufficiency.
