Augsburg/Munich – Battery storage systems are becoming larger, hybrid power plants more complex, and regulatory requirements more demanding. At the same time, cybersecurity, grid compliance, and the integration of diverse generation, storage, and electrical devices are becoming increasingly important for the operation of renewable energy plants.

From June 23 to 25 2026, at The smarter E Europe in Munich, meteocontrol will demonstrate how PV, battery storage, and hybrid power plants can be operated securely, efficiently, and economically. Activities will culminate with the launch of the bluelog Neo, the new platform for the intelligent operation of modern clean-energy projects.
Neo builds on meteocontrol’s decades of experience in the monitoring, control, and integration of renewable energy plants and represents a major step forward in the company’s product portfolio.
The official Neo launch will take place on June 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Messe München, booth B5.210. Trade-show visitors, customers, partners and media representatives will be among the first to experience the platform live and speak directly with meteocontrol’s product, engineering, and leadership teams.
Neo: a new chapter in project control
Modern PV, battery storage, and hybrid power plants demand new technical requirements of operators, EPCs, O&M providers, and asset managers. Plants must be controlled reliably, connected securely, operated in compliance with grid requirements, and integrated into increasingly complex and dynamic energy systemss.
“Every day we see how the requirements for modern energy plants are changing. Neo is the result of this project experience and represents the next step in the development of our on-site technologies,” said Dr Stijn Stevens, Managing Director and CTO of meteocontrol GmbH. “PV plants, battery storage systems, and hybrid energy systems are becoming larger, more connected, and more technically demanding. This requires platforms that simplify complexity and support secure operation across the entire plant lifecycle.”
