The Deutsche Managementsystem Zertifizierungsgesellschaft mbh certifies that meteocontrol has implemented and uses an Information Security Management System (short "ISMS") for the provision and operation of all monitoring products hosted by us and the necessary infrastructure. The core of this system is a central risk management system, in which all analyses of the threat situation are combined with suitable countermeasures. The application of an ISMS and the measures contained in it ensure information security and data protection within the company. As part of the certification process, the ISMS is then tested for its effectiveness in practice.
The audit provided evidence that meteocontrol's ISMS meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO/IEC 27001:2017. The ISO/IEC 27001:2017 represents the internationally recognized leading set of rules and regulations, which describes the introduction and maintenance of an appropriate ISMS. The aim is to continuously monitor, check and adapt the system.
