IRRADIANCE SENSOR SILICIUM
Functionality
The irradiance sensor is used for the professional monitoring of a PV system. With the irradiance measured by the sensor element, the expected yield of a PV system can be established and compared with the actual yield. Deviations from the target yield and a performance loss of the plant can therefore be identified quickly and reliably.
For variants with optional integrated temperature measurement, the temperature of the sensor element is also recorded, which corresponds approximately to the module temperature.
The output signal is 4 to 20 mA, which means that it is particularly suitable in the industrial area.

Functionality
The SI-RS485-TC is used to record the solar irradiance intensity. Furthermore, it can also record the module temperature of the measurement cell. With the RS485 interface, it is particularly suitable in the industrial sector, enabling in particular high line routes.
