Location-precise solarization data generated from the highly precise Meteosat satellite images – as data series and average values. The foundation  for planning and checking solar systems.

Precise hour values are generated at the University of Oldenburg from satellite images every 15 minutes. From these we provide you with historical data series and monthly/annual average values. In addition to global solarization, we also determine diffuse and direct solarization in different resolutions at different times. The translation of the horizontal solarization values to the module tilt of the solar system specifies the data basis for planned PV projects. You receive all meteorological data coordinate-accurate with a maximum spatial resolution of 2.5 x 2.5 kilometer.
